The goal was to improve the accessibility and usability of the digital service for a wider range of users.

The collaboration combined:

• Accessibility auditing
• Inclusive design thinking
• Development guidance for implementation

The Challenge

Many websites unintentionally create barriers that affect usability.

Common issues identified during accessibility testing included:

• Navigation difficult for keyboard users
• Insufficient colour contrast in some interface elements
• Form fields not clearly labelled for screen reader users
• Layout elements becoming difficult to use at high zoom levels

The objective was to identify these barriers and provide clear guidance to improve accessibility and usability.

✔ Prioritised improvement roadmap

Accessibility improvements help organisations create more inclusive and usable digital services for a wider range of users.

Client's kind words:

I wanted to advise a client on their accessibility responsibilities, as they operate in Europe and needed to be compliant. I spoke to Harrison and, after an initial discussion, the report was fantastic. He audited our client’s website and provided a detailed analysis, which enabled our client to understand the necessary actions fully. Harrison is unique compared to other experts as he lives and breathes accessibility, plus he’s an all-round great guy — nothing is too much trouble

—Ryan Grist, Angle Studio Owner

Here, creativity meets Collaborative Improvement

Following the accessibility audit:

• Inclusive design recommendations were explored with Angle Studio
• Technical remediation guidance was provided to support implementation with Scrummi

This collaborative process ensures accessibility issues can move from audit → design → implementation

Why Accessibility Testing Matters

Accessibility testing helps organisations:

• identify digital barriers
• improve usability for more people
• align with accessibility standards
• strengthen inclusive digital services
